About DMAC and GDAC
The Denton Music and Arts Collective (DMAC) and the Greater Denton Arts Council (GDAC) are both pivotal arts nonprofits working in Denton County. DMAC provides vital healthcare subsidies to local artists and musicians, and GDAC is a catalyst for creativity in the city providing art exhibits, programming, workshops, camps, events, and more to the community. They are both deeply invested in preserving the unique and culturally significant musical heritage in Denton, and the goal for this event is to not only celebrate and highlight our musicians and artists, but also create a broader awareness of the vibrant music scene Denton has to offer.
