2026 DMAC Monster Dash 5k Fun Run and Trick or Treat Trail

Join us for a Halloween-themed charity fun run, hosted by Denton Music and Art Collaborative (DMAC Denton) in conjunction with the City of Denton’s 31 days of Halloween!

The 3rd Annual DMAC Monster Dash and Trick or Treat Trail will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026. This family-friendly costume-encouraged event takes place at North Lakes Park in Denton, TX.

This year’s run will be a timed race. Each participant is required to register, which will include a running bib, themed T-shirt and entry to the costume contest. The race itself is slightly over a 5k loop (3.3 miles) around North Lakes Park.

This is an inclusive, family-oriented event, where runners, walkers, and strollers/rollers are welcome. Each participant is required to register. Stick around after the race to see our award ceremony.

A key element of the event will be the family friendly Trick or Treat Trail, where participants can stop at various candy stations around the playground. This will take place in the playground and picnic area of North Lakes Park.
